This painting depicts a giant snake slumbering underground, awakened by the music of a flutist. At the same time, the mixed offspring of butterflies and snakes are hatching in the cave, while rabbits scatter in all directions.
In 2021, I posted a video on a social media platform, inviting everyone to speak freely in the comments section—anything goes. As a result, some people shared their worldviews, others reminisced about their past, and many just wrote interesting sentences. In the end, these 112 collected comments became this artwork.

The inspiration comes from a traditional Chinese game called “dropping the handkerchief.” The little lamb holding the handkerchief realizes that the seemingly safe amusement park is, in fact, a confinement for them, and it decides to escape to find the real world.
